Throughout the year, the Lowcountry Maritime Society is building boats with both youth and adults. These hand-built wooden boats are mostly traditional designs that have withstood the test of time and utility. Many of them are relics of the vessels that would make their way through the creeks, rivers and sounds of the lowcountry centuries ago.

Some of these boats are built on commission others are sold immediately after their construction and many are added to our fleet to be used in on the water programs. The rest of the boats we build are put up for sale. If you are looking for a small boat for recreation, sport, or aesthetics, please take a look at the vessels listed for sale below on this page or contact us for more details on other designs we build, boats already under construction or if you are interested in commissioning a boat yourself. The sale of all Lowcountry Maritime Society boats support our efforts to provide engaging hands-on education to youth throughout the region.
